Hearing Conservation / Noise Awareness
1. Target Group
This two-hour course is designed for those who are likely to work in a noisy environment and to help understand the effects of noise within the workplace;
and how to protect their hearing.

3. Physical and Stressful Demands
There are no physical and stressful demands in this course, however the delegates will be required to undergo medical screening by completing appropriate
medical screening form provided by QISC in order to ensure that the delegates are fit and well to participate fully.
4. Aims and Objectives
The aims and objectives of this course is to provide awareness for participants to identify the meaning of sound and noise; the mechanism of hearing process;
measurement parameters; legislation involved; ways to protect hearing and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to use.

6. Delegate Performance Assessment / Certification / Validity
Delegate Performance Assessment: This is an awareness course that includes an observational assessment.
Certification: QISC Approved Certification with Three years validity
