Accident/Incident Investigation Awareness
1.Target Group
This one-day course is aimed at providing a basic level of Accident and/or Incident Investigation Awareness to people in a supervisory or above level role,
and HSE officers; to develop an appropriate understanding of the key investigation principles and best practice needed; and to help equip personnel
to carry out a basic Accident/Incident Investigation report.

3.Physical and Stressful Demands
There are no physical and stressful demands in this course, however the delegates will be required to undergo medical screening by completing appropriate
medical screening form provided by QISC in order to ensure that the delegates are fit and well to participate fully.
4.Aims and Objectives
To provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skill required while carrying out an accident/incident investigation.
5.Learning Outcomes / Assessment Criteria
To be made aware of:
The definition of Accident/Incident Investigation.
Identifying the different causes of accident.
Listing the investigation kits.
Identifying the correct and systematic approach to be taken.
Select the appropriate pieces of evidence.
Knowing how to gather the witness testimony.
Demonstrating report writing skill.
6.Delegate Performance Assessment / Certification / Validity
Delegate Performance Assessment: This an awareness course and includes oral and written assessment.
Certification: QISC Approved Certification with Three years validity
