Confined Space Entry Supervisor
1. Target Group
This course is suitable to all personnel who are required to plan and supervise confined space operation, including those personnel required to write a
confined space safe system of work and prepare and issue permit to work for confined space entry.

3. Physical and Stressful Demands
All personnel who participates in practical activities specified in this course must be physically and mentally capable of participating fully.
Therefore to ensure that prior to participating in practical exercises, the delegates will be required to undergo medical screening by completing appropriate
medical screening form provided by QISC.
4. Aims and Objectives
The aim of this course is to prepare learners who have been selected or require additional training to be able to supervise confined space operations, write
and issue permit to work and rescue plans to enable learners to be defined as competent person by their employer and be a Confined Space Supervisor.
5. Learning Outcomes / Assessment Criteria
Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to:
Understand the legislation applied to confine space work
Understand the confined space classification
Undertake risk assessments for confined space work
Select, install and maintain control measures
Understand the mechanism of atmosphere testing and monitoring
Develop and maintain emergency plans and procedures
Maintain records and documents
6. Delegate Performance Assessment / Certification / Validity
Delegate Performance Assessment: This is competency-based course and includes an oral, written and practical assessment.
Certification: QISC Approved Certification with Three years validity
