Fire Warden
1. Target Group
This program is designed for those personnel nominated as Fire Wardens, performing fire safety routine and emergency tasks and for general staff.

3. Physical and Stressful Demands
All personnel who participates in practical activities specified in this course must be physically and mentally capable of participating fully.
Therefore to ensure that prior to participating in practical exercises, the delegates will be required to undergo medical screening by completing appropriate
medical screening form provided by QISC.
4. Aims and Objectives
The aim and objectives of the Fire Warden course is to provide delegates with a suitable level of knowledge and practical experience enabling them to perform
Fire Safety roles within offices, factories or any other business premises.
5. Learning Outcomes / Assessment Criteria
Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:
Understand the Legislation of fire
Understand about what fire is and how it spreads
Understand about hazards and daily vigilance
Implement evacuation techniques and employ a strategy within the workplace
Understand protection against fire
Check fire warden routes
Understand what action to take in the event of fire
Identify firefighting equipment
Experience a practical demonstration with live fire
6. Delegate Performance Assessment / Certification / Validity
Delegate Performance Assessment: The course is a competency based course and includes informal direct observational assessment, oral questioning,
and written multiple choice questions.
Certification: QISC Approved Certification with Three years validity
