Floor Marshal Course

Scope (Target Group)
This course will benefit personnel who have specific fire and safety duties within their company.

Objectives
This one day course is designed to explain the duties and responsibilities of the Floor Marshal in relation to the policies and procedures adopted by their
company

Structure of the Course (Course Content)
The syllabus focuses on:
Theory of combustion
Main causes of fire
Fire spread
Fire precautions
Legal framework
Alarm systems
Structural fire protection and detection system
Fire procedures
Fire safety auditing system
Floor Marshal’s duties and responsibilities
Liaison with Qatar Civil Defense
Practical firefighting exercises using extinguishers
Delegates will be given theoretical and practical input on all areas relating to fire safety considerations in their place of work.

Assessment
The course is a competency based course and includes informal observational assessment plus written multiple choice questions

QISC Approved Certificate
QISC are approved by Qatar Civil Defense to conduct this training.
