Permit to Work (PTW) Awareness

1. Target Group
This four-hour course is designed to address the basic training requirements for personnel who need to work or establish co-ordination within the Permit
to Work System.

2. Delegate Pre-requisites

3. Physical and Stressful Demands
There are no physical and stressful demands in this course, however the delegates will be required to undergo medical screening by completing appropriate
medical screening form provided by QISC in order to ensure that the delegates are fit and well to participate fully.

4. Aims and Objectives
The aims and objectives of the training are to ensure that the delegate gains the required knowledge and understanding of Permit to Work system.

5. Learning Outcomes / Assessment Criteria
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
• Understand the key features of the PTW system
• Review significant work instructions associated with PTW requirements
• Review PTW forms and related certificates
• Understand the roles and responsibilities

6. Delegate Performance Assessment / Certification / Validity
Delegate Performance Assessment: This is an awareness course and includes an observational written assessment.
Certification: QISC Approved Certification with Three years validity
