QatarEnergy Approved Confined Space Entry Awareness
Overview (Target Audience)
The course is designed for Onshore and Offshore personnel with the responsibilities of working in and around confined spaces as part of routine operations.
This course will cover vertical entry and the use of escape breathing apparatus & personal multi-gas detectors.

Course Pre-requisites
Candidates must be comfortable wearing breathing apparatus equipment and maneuvering through the enclosed nature of a confined space.
Fluent in English (translation can be discussed prior to commencement of the course).
There are no pre-requisites for QE Approved Confined Space Entry Awareness.

13. Vertical Entry and maneuvering within a confined space
14. Self rescue
Elements 11 through to 14 will be performed practically.
Certification
Each delegate will be issued with a Qatar International Safety Centre Certificate (QE Approved).

Health & Fitness
All personnel who participate in practical activities specified in this course outline must be physically and mentally capable of participating fully.
All students will be asked to complete a Qatar International Safety Centre standard medical questionnaire prior to course commencement.
Delegates are required to declare any current or pre-existing medical conditions which may be exacerbated by, or impair their ability to complete, the
training/assessment programme. Should this be the case, the individual may be required to provide an authentic medical certificate issued since any
identified medical condition was diagnosed.
