QSGTL Health Security Safety Environment Site Induction

1. Target Group
This mandatory induction course is designed for all new employees and operatives arriving on QSGTL sites.

2. Delegate Pre-requisites
There are no prerequisite entry requirements for this qualification.

3. Physical and Stressful Demands
All personnel who participates in practical activities specified in this course must be physically and mentally capable of participating fully. All students will be
asked to complete a Qatar International Safety Centre standard medical questionnaire prior to course commencement.

4. Aims and Objectives
This safety induction training is aimed at providing new employees with an overview of health and safety practices at QSGTL areas that will encourage them
to work safely.

5. Learning Outcomes
On completion of the course, delegate must be able to understand:
 The importance of QSGTL 12 Life Saving Rules and its enforcement
 Common hazards and risk involve while working at QSGTL site
 Local rules and procedures for specific QSGTL areas
 Specific hazards and local rules at ASU (Air Separation Unit)
 Specific hazards and local rules at GTL (Gas to Liquid) area
 Specific hazards and local rules at LPU (Liquid Processing Unit)
 Specific hazards and local rules at FGP (Feed Gas Processing) area
 Specific hazards and local rules at UTL (Utility) area
 The two way commitment to health and safety

6. Delegate Performance Assessment / Certification / Validity
The course is an awareness course and a 10-questions written examination will be given at the end of the course.
No certification
Three years validity
