1.Target Group
The training programme is to be delivered for all Medical Staff who are engaged in the delivery and legacy of the FIFA World Cup 2022.

3.Physical and Stressful Demands
All personnel who participate in this training must be physically and mentally capable of participating fully.
4.Aims and Objectives
This course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Training is recommended for
health care professionals who will epitomize American Heart Association’s (AHA) concept of “Life is Why”, which is ideally about saving lives. This will
prepare the health care professional to help improve patient outcomes in complex cardiovascular, respiratory, and other emergencies by expanding on
core BLS guidelines and encouraging critical thinking and decision-making strategies. The AHA BLS Course has been updated to reflect new science
in the 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR.
5.Learning Outcomes / Course Content
This course discusses the following topics:
2010 AHA guideline for CPR
Adult, child & infant BLS
Airway and breathing
Adult, child & infant bag (mask technique)
Defibrillation (AED)
Relief of chocking
6.Delegate Performance Assessment / Certification / Validity
Delegate Performance Assessment:
Practical Test & Written, multiple choice exams
Certification: Successful delegates will be issued with a certificate approved by American Heart Association valid for 2 years which is renewable through
full course.
