Commercial Fire Fighter 3 Day
Overview (Target Audience)
The course is designed for personnel who require more advanced fire fighter training to enable them to support either company fire service personnel or
Civil Defence personnel. These delegates will be able to take up the position of first responders within their respective companies.

Course Learning Outcomes
During the training the delegates will complete the following elements:
1. Team Work
2. Fire Fighting
3. Pressure Vessels
4. Hazardous Materials
5. Hose running
6. Hose reels
7. Hose handling operations
8. Extinguishers
9. Foam equipment
10. Casualty handling and stretchers
11. Self contained breathing apparatus sets
12. Chemical incidents (including decontamination)
13. Incident stabilizations including cooling and isolation
14. Internal/ external fire fighting including Class A, B & C
Elements 5 through to 14 will be performed practically.
Certification
Each delegate will be issued with a Qatar International Safety Centre Certificate.

Health & Fitness
All personnel who participate in practical activities specified in this course outline must be physically and mentally capable of participating fully.
All students will be asked to complete a Qatar International Safety Centre standard medical questionnaire prior to course commencement.
Delegates are required to declare any current or pre-existing medical conditions which may be exacerbated by, or impair their ability to complete, the
training/assessment programme. Should this be the case, the individual may be required to provide an authentic medical certificate issued since any
identified medical condition was diagnosed.
