Confined Space Rescue Team Member

Overview (Target Audience)
The course is designed for Onshore and Offshore personnel with the responsibilities of working in and around confined spaces as part of routine operations.
This course will cover complex entry and egress including the use of stretchers to extrication and rescue casualties.

Course Pre-requisites
Qatar International Safety Centre advises that the delegates have attended a First Aid at Work Training course.

11. Escape breathing apparatus
12. Horizontal non complex entry
13. Moving in a confined space
14. Self rescue
15. Self contained breathing apparatus sets
16. Harness fitting and pre use check
17. Tripod, winch and recovery block
18. Vertical access & egress, complex entry
19. Moving in a confined space in SCBA
20. Rescue & recover a casualty
21. Patient packaging & stretchers
22. Combined raising and lowering systems
23. Pulley systems 3:1, 4:1, 9:1
24. Single person vertical rescue
25. Team rescue
Elements 11 through to 25 will be performed practically.

Certification
Each delegate will be issued with a Qatar International Safety Centre Certificate.

Health & Fitness
All personnel who participate in practical activities specified in this course outline must be physically and mentally capable of participating fully.
All students will be asked to complete a Qatar International Safety Centre standard medical questionnaire prior to course commencement.
Delegates are required to declare any current or pre-existing medical conditions which may be exacerbated by, or impair their ability to complete,
the training/assessment programme. Should this be the case, the individual may be required to provide an authentic medical certificate issued since
any identified medical condition was diagnosed.
