Floor Fire Warden (Supreme Committee)
*1. Target Group
This program is designed for those personnel nominated as Floor Wardens, performing fire safety routine and emergency tasks and for general staff.
*2. Delegate Pre-requisites
There are no pre-requisites on this course however a general understanding of health and safety is preferred.
*3. Physical and Stressful Demands
All personnel who participates in practical activities specified in this course must be physically and mentally capable of participating fully.
*4. Aim of the Course
The aim of the course is to provide participants with a suitable level of knowledge and practical experience enabling them to perform fire safety roles within
offices or any other business premises.

Legislation.
Science of Fire.
What Fire is and how it spreads.
Fire prevention.
Fire emergency evacuation plan.
Firefighting equipment.
*6. Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:
Understand what action to take in the event of fire.
Identify the type of fire and the correct firefighting equipment to use.
Experience a practical demonstration of fire extinguisher.
Experience a practical use of digital fire extinguisher with a fire simulator.
*7. Delegate Performance Assessment / Certification / Validity
The course is assessed by a practical demonstration of the correct use of a fire extinguisher using fire simulator.
