IOSH Leading Safely v2.0 (Chalk & Talk)

1. Target Group
Leading safely is aimed at people with leadership responsibilities, such as senior managers, directors, and heads of departments, board members,
business owners and chief executives.

2. Delegate Pre-requisites
Delegates are required to have an ability to read and understand English language as this course will be delivered only in English.

3. Physical and Stressful Demands
All personnel who participates in practical activities specified in this course must be physically and mentally capable of participating fully. Therefore to
ensure that prior to participating in practical exercises, the delegates will be required to undergo medical screening by completing appropriate medical
screening form provided by QISC.

4. Aims and Objectives
This course aim to change the way of leading organization’s approach to health and safety, with a much broader set of business drivers influencing the
way organizations are responding.

5. Learning Outcomes
The learner will be able to:
 Develop a strategic understanding of the value of safety and health
 Understand good practice from leading global organizations
 Understand where they want to position their organizations safety performance against other organization’s
 Plan for implementation
 Understand their operational responsibilities and the opportunities of good performance, as well as the consequences of poor performance

6. Delegate Performance Assessment / Certification / Validity
Delegate Performance Assessment: All delegates and trainers will have an access to an app that includes:
 14 question diagnostic tool on key behaviors of successful safety and health leaders
 A personal commitment form
 An e-learning module that can be used to give more background information
 A library of useful and current information
Certification: IOSH certification (certificate issuance will take minimum of 30 days from the course completion)
